These are so cute! I have a question, is there a specific type of polymer clay you use? I tried making detailed earrings like this out of original sculpey but the sculpey eventually got too soft to work with and wouldn't take a smooth shape nor would it hold it's shape and became squished together. Is it just a matter of handling it too much, or does it depend on the type of sculpey etc?

I make it with Fimo. Sometimes the clay is too soft, you can try to put the clay you will use between two paper sheets and put a big book or something like that on top. The paper will absorb the extra grease and the clay will be more hard.
Also, I've heard that Kato polyclay is more hard, but i never tryed it.
I hope this can help you. My english isn't very good ^^
Thank you so much for all.
